Swissotel Istanbul, The Bosphorus is the venue of the ICEM'98. Secluded in a prime residential area in the Center of the city, this exceptional five star hotel commands superb views of the Bosphorus and the Asian Coast of Turkey. The airport is forty-five minutes away by taxi or public transport.

The weather in Istanbul in early September is mild to moderate with the possibility of rain. A light jacket for the evening is suggested as temperatures may cool down.

Some participants may require a visa to enter Turkey. We therefore suggest that you contact the Turkish Embassy/Consulate in your country or ask your travel agent for assistance.

The Registration Fees will cover full attendance at the Conference(s), the Conference kit(s), the printed Proceedings, the Welcoming Cocktail(s), lunches, coffee breaks, the delegateÕs badge(s) and the Gala Dinner that will be held on the evening of 3 September 1998.

Provided that written notice is received two weeks prior to the Conference a refund of 75 % of the registration fee will be made. If no notice is received, no refund can be made.

The registration fee includes the Welcoming Cocktail, half-day Ottoman Relics Tour, full-day Imperial Tour and the Gala Dinner.
 

Block of rooms have been reserved in the hotels listed below for the delegates wishing to book accommodation on specially reduced rates for ICEM’98: These rates are only available until 01.06.1998. Rates are per night and including breakfasts and taxes. Reservations received after this date will be booked on a space available basis and the rate will be subject to a change.
